- Alexander commissions the construction of a base of operations in Antarctica, with a secret laboratory underneath to inquiry the project "Code: Veronica." The goal of the project was to create a human prodigy that would become the "true" successor to the Ashford dynasty by embedding genes from the family unit's founder, Veronica, and to prevent Oswell Spencer from taking control of the corporation if Alexander died.
1971
